Frequently Asked Questions
Can treatment be completed in one visit?
Composite veneers are typically completed in one visit, and patients usually need 2 days in Cancún.
Porcelain veneers require two visits over approximately 5 days, allowing time for preparation and laboratory fabrication.
All-on-4 treatment is completed during two visits within about 5 days, and patients leave with a fixed temporary restoration. A return visit after approximately 6 months is required to place the final permanent prosthesis once healing is complete.
We always plan treatment timelines in advance and clearly explain how many visits are needed before you travel.
Will I know the cost of treatment in advance?
When you send us photos online, we can provide an initial estimate and preliminary treatment recommendation. However, please note that photos do not provide a 100% guarantee. Once you arrive and we perform an in-person examination and diagnostics, the final treatment plan or cost may be adjusted slightly if clinical conditions differ from what is visible in photos.
We always discuss any changes with you in advance, and no treatment is performed without your full understanding and approval.
Does dental treatment hurt?
The most uncomfortable part for many patients is usually the anesthetic injection itself. After that, treatment is typically painless.
If at any point the anesthesia begins to wear off or you feel discomfort, you can simply let us know and we will immediately add more anesthesia to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. We always prioritize patient comfort, especially for anxious patients.
What are my options for replacing missing teeth?
Do I really need All-on-4?
However, it is also important to understand when All-on-4 becomes the recommended solution. We typically suggest All-on-4 when a patient has multiple missing or severely damaged teeth, advanced gum disease, failing dental work, or when remaining teeth can no longer be predictably saved with individual treatments.
Our goal is always to preserve natural teeth whenever possible. All-on-4 is recommended only when it offers a more reliable, long-term, and functional outcome compared to repeated restorations or temporary solutions.
