Resin Veneers

A resin veneer is a thin layer of resin composite material that is placed on the front of a tooth to improve its cosmetic appearance. These veneers are custom designed and are bonded to the tooth temporarily or semi-permanently, in contrast to ceramic veneers which are permanent. They are used to correct cosmetic imperfections such as stains, discolorations, irregular shapes or small spaces between the teeth. Although resin veneers tend to be less durable than ceramic veneers and may require more frequent maintenance, they are a cheaper option and can be a quick and effective solution to improve dental aesthetics in certain situations. Its application generally involves the direct application of the resin on the tooth and its subsequent modeling and hardening using a specialized light source.
